Questions and answers about photoshoots

HOW MUCH DO YOUR SERVICES COST AND WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

You can find the full list of services and prices in the “Services and Prices” section. Feel free to ask any questions here if you have any.

HOW IS PAYMENT MADE?

Payment is made at the end of the photoshoot.

WHY IS IT SO EXPENSIVE?

The price is carefully calculated and more than fair for every service package and any of my other services. It includes preparation for the shoot, my transportation costs, the actual work during the shoot, stylist/makeup artist/studio/props (if included), photo post-processing, equipment maintenance, file-sharing platform fees, website costs, advertising, and other behind-the-scenes aspects that are invisible to the client.

Keep in mind, you can only choose 2 out of these 3 factors:

  1. Affordable
  2. High Quality
  3. Fast

My pricing is based on market standards and the points mentioned above.

WHEN AND HOW WILL WE RECEIVE THE PHOTOS?

Within a week, you will receive all the successful shots with color correction and retouching of close-up portraits. The link will be sent to you via the messenger we used for communication.

HOW AND WHEN SHOULD I BOOK THE DATE?

It’s very simple! You can contact me in any convenient way through the contact section, and I will tell you everything and answer your questions. If you need a specific date, I recommend booking 2-3 weeks in advance, as I also have another interesting job with a busy schedule.

CAN I RESCHEDULE THE SHOOT IF MY PLANS CHANGE?

Yes, of course! We can easily reschedule the shoot to any day/time that is convenient for both you and me. Just make sure to inform me about any changes as early as possible!

HOW LONG DOES THE PHOTOSHOOT LAST?

It depends on the service package you choose. Typically, it’s 1 hour or 1.5 hours. During this time, we can usually get many great shots. If none of the service packages suit you, we can discuss all the details individually and agree on the duration, price, etc., in advance. You can also extend the photoshoot on-site, as long as my schedule allows it.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PHOTO EDITING?

There are two stages of photo editing:
— initial editing: correct cropping of the photo, white balance alignment, exposure, color saturation adjustment, overall photo enhancement, possible author’s color correction (photo in a specific style and color scheme).
— detailed editing: initial editing + retouching (removal of pimples/bruises/wrinkles, body sculpting), removal of unnecessary objects in the frame if possible.

Important! I am for naturalness! Most likely, you won’t have glossy faces like the girls in magazines, but i’m sure you’ll like my editing!

DO YOU PROVIDE RAW FILES?

No, in 99.9% of cases, I do not provide them. This may be possible if you are also a photographer and/or we have an individual agreement, barter, or other non-standard cooperation terms. RAW files can also be purchased for an additional fee, but I’m not sure why you would need them.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

I shoot with the Canon EOS R6 — a professional camera that takes stunning shots! Currently, I have 2 lenses: the Canon EF 50 mm f/1.4 USM and the Tamron EF 35 mm f/1.4, as well as the Canon Speedlite 600EX on-camera flash. I also occasionally rent lenses for specific tasks.

DO YOU SHOOT IN OTHER CITIES, AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

I think it’s no secret that we are living in unstable times, and today I am in one city, and tomorrow in another. I think it’s better for you to message me directly and ask about the city you’re interested in.

CAN I GET A DISCOUNT?

Yes! You will receive a 10% discount on your next shoot. You can also get a discount for referring a friend (the discount applies to both you and your friend). If you are a regular client, discounts are discussed individually.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO POSE, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

ВI believe that the success of a photoshoot doesn’t depend on your ability to pose (unless it’s fashion), but on being yourself! I will definitely guide you and provide tips, but the photos will turn out much better if you are as relaxed as possible, in a good mood, and trust the photographer. Feeling calm and at ease is key.

Of course, there is always some level of posing in any photo shoot, but it will look natural and organic if you follow the advice above.

I DON’T WANT YOU TO PUBLISH MY PHOTOS IN YOUR PORTFOLIO (INSTAGRAM, FACEBOOK, WEBSITE).

By booking the shoot, you agree that the photos may be published in my portfolio: on the website, in blogs, and other online resources to showcase my work. Please understand this.

The cost of all packages (except for the “Baptism” package) already includes a $20 discount for your permission to publish. A photoshoot under full or partial confidentiality terms must be discussed in advance, exclusively before the shoot. In this case, the discount will not be provided or will be given partially, on an individual basis.

WHY DOES THE COST VARY DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE SHOOT?

It’s simple! More people means more retouching, detail processing, etc. Photos with one person are retouched twice as fast as with two or more.

Questions and answers about preset packages

HOW WILL I RECEIVE THE PRESETS?

Immediately after payment, a link to the cloud storage will appear, where the presets will be available for download. The link will also be sent to your email. If you lose the presets, you can always download them again or contact me, and I will resend the link.

WHAT IS THE FORMAT/TYPE OF FILES IN THE PRESETS?

The preset will be available in three formats:

  1. preset.xmp (for Lightroom and Camera Raw 11.2 and later)
  2. preset.lrtemplate (for versions older than Lightroom Classic CC 7.3.1)
  3. preset.dng (for the mobile version of Lightroom)

If you didn’t find the answer to your question, you can ask it in this form, and as soon as I receive it, I will respond immediately.
